  Stay here everytime I can when I'm in muswellbrook. Reception is always manned. Clean place. Decent speeds on wifi and restaurant downstairs.

  Placed on the New England Highway Sydney side of Muswellbrook the Motel is luxurious, with massive comfortable beds, decorated in a fresh contemporary manner and a good sized TV placed perfectly on the wall. I didn't like the parking as it often entailed a bit of a walk. Shopping centres are not within walking distance. The rooms are air conditioned and have tes and coffee making facilities. The mini bar is extrnsive, however missing was the jug that allows you to chill water in the fridge.

  Modern, clean and tidy. Whilst everything seems fairly new and relatively well done, it is the minor details that lets this motel down. There is a line in the bathroom for drying clothes, but it is over the vanity and mounted upside down so that the line would fall out if much weight is placed on it. The heater globe in the bathroom periodically turns itself off, presumably due to overheating. Power points are also lacking, there are no power points above desk height, so plugging in a laptop requires getting under the desk. Plugging a phone charger in next to the bed is also quite difficult. Crockery is also scarce, with only a couple of mugs, glasses, and a teaspoon. The motel is located on the main road through town, and is walking distance to a pub/bottle shop, pizza place, and some convenience items can be found at a nearby service station. Supermarkets and McDonald's can be found a bit further down the road.
